Tulip Festival at Chenies Manor, nr. Chesham Bucks

More than 25,000 tulips of all sorts of colours, shapes and sizes are in full bloom in the stunning grounds of this beautiful 15th Century manor house.
FREE Blossom Day, Jeacock’s Orchard, Tring, Herts
Sunday 30th April, 11am – 3pm.
Celebrate National Blossom Day at this WW1 orchard. There will be a maypole and moths and stories for Spring as well as crafts, displays and local art groups. Light refreshments provided.
Monday 1st May, 12noon – 5pm
This is a brilliant local fair. Enjoy the Morris dancers, stalls, children’s activities, music, food & drink.
May Day Merriment at Chiltern Open Air Museum, Chalfont St Giles, Bucks
Sunday 30th April and Bank Holiday Monday 1st May
Enjoy the Tudor May Day celebrations with a display of fire power, featuring the black powder weapons of the day and there will be displays of swordsmanship as well as foods and crafts and May Tree decorating.
Fritillary Season at Waterperry Gardens, Oxfordshire

See the county flower of Oxfordshire in all its native splendour in the beautiful wildflower meadows and riverside walk at Waterperry.
Further afield there is the Hertfordshire Garden Show at Knebworth House and the traditional May morning celebrations in Oxford City Centre.
Cookham PYO (Berkshire) and Rectory Farm (Stanton St. John, Oxfordshire) are opening up for asparagus PYO this weekend too.
