With more than 50 recipes, The Chilterns Recipe Book showcases the region’s best ingredients and the people who lovingly make them. There are recipes to suit all tastes, from comforting breads and Sunday lunches to elegant cocktails, delicious doughnuts and showstopping cakes, and even meals you can create using foraged ingredients.

Set to the backdrop of the stunning Chilterns countryside, this book celebrates the deep connection between our food, the land and the people who produce it.

A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR

Award-winning freelance television producer Rebecca has created brilliant programmes, filming all around the world.

She grew up in the Chilterns and moved back here to start her family. Rebecca was part of a group of volunteers who founded Wigginton Community Shop in Hertfordshire, which opened in 2018. This sparked her to learn more about the wonderful food and drink produced in the Chilterns.

Talented photographer Matt has lived in Bucks since 2012 and has been a freelance photographer for over 12 years.

A champion for local independent businesses, Matt has moved from pre-dominantly shooting weddings to creating award-winning commercial photography through his business Collab Creative - a digital marketing agency that helps build outstanding brands online through website design, marketing, and photography.

Scott has lived in the Chilterns for most of his life. He shot to fame with a highly acclaimed appearance on “MasterChef: The Professionals” in 2015, where he came second.

After spending nine years at The Grove in Watford, Scott now wows guests with
his incredible talent as Head Chef at Crockers, Tring. Diners enjoy Scott’s passion for superb fine dining served in a relaxed and friendly setting. Scott prepared all the food for the recipe photographs in the book.

Professional writer, storyteller and lover of food, Hilary is a passionate advocate of small, independent brands, working with them to help them discover and tell their authentic stories.

Hilary edited and advised on the book, bringing every producer’s story to life.
