It’s Open Farm Sunday this weekend and it’s a great chance to go behind the scenes and find out more about the great food produced on our doorsteps.

SUNDAY 11th JUNE
Buckmoorend Farm, nr. Wendover
Plant wildflowers to take home and enjoy wellie wanging and getting creative in craft corner, tyre rolling, face painting, finding a way through the hay maze. Watch displays of farm machinery, listen to talks on livestock, arable and sustainable farming and meet the animals.
Hot food and refreshments will be available to buy throughout the day from the farm kitchen with seating outdoors and in the hay barn. The farm shop will be open offering the chance to purchase home reared meats alongside an array of other homemade and local produce.
Sandy Lane Farm, nr. Thame, Oxon
See the impressive and wide variety of veg growing in the fields and market garden of this organic farm.
Enjoy a tractor-trailer ride or a nature walk and learn about the hens and pigs.
Buy local organic produce in the farm shop and enjoy freshly made coffee with a hot dog or a piece of cake! We will have local beer for sale too.
Woodoaks Farm, nr. Maple Cross
Meet the farmers – Melanie, British Flower Farmer and Rickey, Market Gardener and jump on board the tractor and trailer ride. Watch the excitement of the horse and carriage driving competition. Take a Creative juices Brewing Company mini beer tour or visit the art studio with Romey Brough. Join a cow walk and talk with Pete Whitby or maybe you fancy a free fermenting workshop…
This is a charity run farm working as part of The Soil Association and putting nature at the forefront of all we do as we transition to becoming a certified organic farm.
Lacey’s Family Farm, nr. High Wycombe
Enjoy milking demonstrations, tractor and trailer rides and meet the animals. There will be a BBQ and Refreshments and the farm shop will be full of lots of produce from the farm.
Laceys is famous for their delicious creamy milk from their beautiful Guernsey cows.
